Desirable Qualifications : Proven ability in publishing, ICT usage, content search and content editing. Should have the ability to comprehend technical data and create content based on the meaningful interpretations. Ability to develop web based content on various platforms. Knowledge on rice related technologies.
Emoluments : Consolidated pay of Rs.18000/- p.m. plus HRA for Doctoral and Rs.17000/-p.m. plus HRA for Masters.

Emoluments: Rs.12,000/-p.m. plus HRA for first two years & Rs/.14,000/-p.m.plus HRA from 3rd year onwards.

Desirable Qualifications : 2 years research experience in above cited fields for SRF. Experience certificate and /publications are essential.

Desirable Qualifications : 1-2 years research experience in crop genetics / breeding as evidenced by publications and / or reference letters. Work experience in rice biotechnology/breeding/genetics will be preferred.

ICAR funded project on "Multi-location Evaluation of Rice Germplasm". Duration: 1 year & extendable further.
Highly Skilled Technical Person (1 post-Pl.Breeding) :
Essential Qualifications : B.Sc or M.Sc degree with Botany as one of the subjects or Diploma in Agriculture from any of the recognized universities in the Country.
Desirable Qualifications : Flair to work in rice fields, Experience in field experiments and knowledge of computer application
Emoluments : Consolidated pay of Rs.8, 000/- per month
Highly Skilled Technical Person (1 post-Entomology) :
Essential Qualifications : B.Sc. or M.Sc in any branch of life sciences.
Desirable Qualifications : Experience in screening germplasm from insect resistance

DBT funded project on "Establishment of National Rice Resource Data Base". Duration: 3 years
Highly Skilled Technical Person (1 post) :
Essential Qualifications : Bachelors degree in Botany or Diploma in Agriculture from any of the recognized universities in the country.
Desirable Qualifications : (a) Experience in field experiments (b) flair to work in the rice fields (c) knowledge of computer applications.
Emoluments : Consolidated pay of Rs.8,000/- per month
BMGF funded project on "Stress-tolerant rice for poor farmers in Africa and South Asia". Duration: 11 months
Technical Help (1 post) :
Essential Qualifications : B.Sc (Agriculture) / B.Sc in Life Sciences
Desirable Qualifications : (1)M.Sc (Ag.) in Genetics / Plant Breeding or M.Sc in Life Sciences (2)Basic knowledge in computer applications for data base management.
Emoluments : Consolidated pay of Rs.8,000/- p.m .
Age: Below 35 years for men and 40 years for women for Technical Help, Highly Skilled Technical Person, JRF & SRF
and below 40 years for men and 45 years for women for RA as on 1.1.2010 (age relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates).
The above positions are purely temporary contractual and is to co-terminus with the project. There is no provision of re-
employment after termination of the project.
