Applications are invited exclusively from Ex. Trade (Act) Apprentices trained in Mechanical Engineering Department of V.P.T. in any trade under Apprentices Act 1961 to the post of Khallasi (Shore)

- Total Vacancies : 16 Posts
- Pay Scale : Rs. 3700 – 60 –4180 – 75 –5830 (Scales are under revision)
- Age Limit : There is no age limit for the apprentice candidates who are trained in VPT before 03/06/2005. For the apprentices trained on or after 03/06/2005, the age limit shall be 25 years. SC/ST candidates are eligible for 5 years relaxation and OBC candidates are eligible for 3 years relaxation as per extant rules. Age limit will be counted as on the date of notification.
Minimum Qualifications : Must have under gone Trade ( Act ) Apprentice-ship in Mechanical Engineering Department of V.P.T. in any trade and in possession of National Apprenticeship certificate. Must know Swimming
