- Against vacancies of Associate Professors, the Institute may recruit Professors if necessary. Therefore candidates with requisite qualifications in those specialities for Professor-ship may also apply.
- No. of posts can be increased/decreased as per requirement at the time of interview.
- Civil & Ex. Army retired personnel can also apply for contractual appointment and retirement age limit will be 65 years only for professor & Associate Professor.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR FACULTY POSITIONS : A Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (persons possessing qualification included in Part-II of the Third Schedule of the said Act, shall also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act,aforesaid). A postgraduate qualification e.g. M.D. or a recognised qualification equivalent there to.
Max. Age limit(as on 01.01.2010) : Lady Medical Officer/Casuality Medical Officer/Lecturer - 35 Yrs., Asst. Professor-40 Yrs, Associate Professor - 45 Yrs., Professor(Jr. Grade) - 50 Yrs, Professor (Sr. grade) - 55 yrs, Age limit may be relaxed by retired personal.
